FREE MUSIC DRAWING
Congratulations to Linda in Seneca MO, who has
won Eden's Bridge's "Isle of Tides", Robert
Coates' "Peace, Be Still", and Fathom's
"Available Light" in our most recent drawing.
To enter the current contest, just fill out the
form at
http://www.CelticChristianTunes.com/surv.shtml.
NEW (OLD) FEATURE
We've recently posted a classic interview with
Iona from 1997. It's an insightful look at Eden's
Bridge in the middle of their band history, and
provides insight into the differences between
Christian music in the UK and the US.
NEW WEBSITE LINKS
Since our last edition of the Newsletter we've
added links for Alan Mearns and Troy Donockley.
WHERE ARE THE UPDATES?!
You might notice a lack of updates at
CelticChristianTunes.com over the next couple of
months as we move our headquarters. (Translation:
Cory's buying a new house before the interest
rates go up!)

MOYA BRENNAN: Due to time constraints, we don't
typically try to dedicate resources to keeping up
to date concert schedules. However, those of you
in the Pacific Northwest might like to know about
a rare appearance by this UK artist.
(Northwesterners don't often get chances to enjoy
their favorite Celtic Christian artists.) Moya
will be appearing in Seattle's Tractor Tavern on
March 9, and at Portland, Oregon's Berbati's Pan
on March 10.
MOYA BRENNAN has been nominated for Best Irish
Female Singer in the prestigious IRMA Meteor
Awards. The 2004 Meteor Awards will take place at
Dublin's Point Theatre on March 1st and will be
hosted by comedian, Dara O'Brien, and will be
broadcast on Ireland's RTE1 TV. Moya is up
against Cara Dillon, Carol Keogh, Roisin Murphy
and Sinead O'Connor.
TERL BRYANT & DAVID FITZGERALD: This month Iona
co-founder David Fitzgerald is recording a new
album project with Terl Bryant. More details to
come in a future newsletter.
TROY DONOCKLEY's website has undergone a dramatic redesign.
FATHOM's next album, "Pollution Blues", will be
available in February. This 58-minute 16 track CD
is the band's second independent release. The
tracks mix rock guitar with the Celtic voices of
mandolin, acoustic guitar, bagpipes and mythical
storytelling. Says lead guitarist Mike 'The
Godfather' Clemente, "Some people may love
it; some people may use it as a coaster for their
favorite soft drink. Regardless of it's purpose,
I hope it serves society well!"
JEFF JOHNSON has finished mixing the music for
"Katurrah", a collaboration with Brian Dunning,
John Fitzpatrick, Jozef Luptak and Janet Chvatal.
This album, which is expected to be released this
autumn, features music inspired by the new
illustrated book by Terryl Whitlach entitled,
"The Katurran Odyssey".
PHIL KEAGGY's website is currently undergoing a makeover.
MICHAEL W. SMITH: Be watching this spring for
Michael's Worship Box Set, available March 9.
This collection marks the first time the
trilogy-Worship, Worship DVD, and Worship
Again-have been packaged together.
