FREE MUSIC DRAWING
The number of entrants in each of our drawings is only about 10% of
the size of our mailing list. The odds of winning are probably
greater than you think, so if you haven't entered before, it doesn't
hurt to give it a shot!
Congratulations to Shary in Arizona, who has won three great seasonal
albums in our most recent drawing. The winner of our next drawing
will receive: Eden's Bridge's "Isle of Tides", Robert Coates' "Peace,
Be Still", and Fathom's "Available Light". The next drawing is
expected to happen in early January.
The current contest cycle will be a short one, so enter today!
To enter the current contest, just fill out the form at

For more information about each of these items, please visit the
artists' websites through CelticChristianTunes.com.
There's very little to report this time around, but we thought this
was worth mentioning:
Vivendi Universal recently sold the mp3.com domain CNET, who suddenly
closed the popular site this week. For years, mp3.com has provided a
means for 250,000 artists--mostly independents--to market their CD's,
and a location for fans to download a plethora of free legal music.
This development occurred so quickly that it was probably completed
before most of the artists even knew their online presence was
disappearing. CNET has announced that it will start its own free
service for independent musicians early next year at
music.download.com. From that site:
"...we're hard at work building a free music download
site that will address the needs of the independent
artist community and the music downloading community.
Launching in early 2004, music.download.com will offer
artists free file hosting and a presence on the Web,
and will give music fans free access to a universe of
downloadable songs."
