CelticChristianTunes.com SITE NEWS:
MONTHLY DRAWING
Congratulations to Jane in Frederick, MD, who has just won Kildare's "Eternal
Dance" in our most recent drawing. The winner of our current contest will
receive three new CDs: Caim's "New Life From Old", Isle of Light's "Winter's
Welcome", and Fathom's "Available Light", generously donated by the artists. The
next drawing will be held in early April.
To enter the current contest, just fill out the form at
http://www.CelticChristianTunes.com/surv.shtml.
BONUS GIVEAWAY!
This month (on St. Patrick's Day, no less!), CelticChristianTunes.com Radio
streamed it's 50,000th listener-hour of music. To celebrate, we're giving away
two extra recordings this month to readers of this newsletter: Robert Coates'
"On This Very Day" on CD and Caim's "Sung Prayers in the Celtic Tradition" on
cassette. The first two people to reply to this e-mail with the answer to the
following question will win one of these two recordings (the first correct reply
gets their choice; the second correct reply gets what's left). Here's the
question:
When it started out in 1996, CelticChristianTunes.com had a different name. What
was it? (Hint: the answer can be found somewhere at CelticChristianTunes.com.)
WRITE A REVIEW, KEEP THE CD!
We need volunteers! Periodically, we receive albums from artists and labels that
must be reviewed. However, this takes a time, and sometimes we get swamped! If
you would like to help out in this area, let us know by e-mail, especially if
you have writing experience. If possible, please include a sample of something
you've written. When a new CD comes in, we'll contact you and if you're
available and willing, we'll send you the CD to review. E-mail us the review,
and you get to keep the CD! If you're interested, just reply to this e-mail to
get in touch.

CelticChristianTunes.com Radio NEWS:
LISTEN VIA DIAL-UP MODEM (FINALLY!)
We've been hoping that enough donations would come in to provide enough funds to
get a dial-up stream going in addition to our existing broadband stream, but it
hasn't happened. Frankly, we've come to the conclusion that that course of
action was misguided--expanding this service to more listeners should not
dependent on whether we can get enough donations to cover the cost. (Is this a
ministry or isn't it?) Though it might take some time, we are determined to
launch a separate CelticChristianTunes.com Radio stream that is accessible to
dial up users. Be watching for this development some time over the next couple
of months.
VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE TRACKS!
You may have noticed the little "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" icons in the player
window while listening. You can use these to vote for (or against) certain
tracks by clicking on the appropriate icon. Your votes will be tallied with
other statistical data to compile a monthly top 10 list. It will also be used as
guidance in determining what music should be added to (or removed from) our
playlist in the future.
SPEAKING OF MONTHLY TOP 10 LISTS...
Here's the first one! This list is based on a combination of factors, including
listener votes, "Buy" and "Wish List" clicks, and log-offs while songs are
playing:
CelticChristianTunes.com Radio Top 10 Songs for February 2003:
1. Joanne Hogg - Sing A Song Of Celebration - Celtic Inspirations
2. Kerri-Ann Rostad - Lamb Of God - Deep Still
3. Michael Card - Prelude - Unveiled Hope
4. Marty McCall - Images of Faith - Images of Faith
5. Eden's Bridge - Blessed Is The Man - Celtic Psalms
6. Robin Mark - Lord Have Mercy - Come Heal This Land
7. Robin Mark - Glory To The Lord Our God - Come Heal This Land
8. Eden's Bridge - Beginning And End - Celtic Praise
9. Eden's Bridge - O Little Heaven - Celtic Journeys
10. Michael Card - I Will Arise And Go To Jesus - Starkindler
NO MORE REPEAT PLAYS!
At times, you may have noticed some weirdness in our playlist, such as songs
that repeat too frequently, or different songs by the same artist (or even from
the same album) playing back to back. Thanks to a programming overhaul, you can
now listen to CelticChristianTunes.com Radio for over 14 hours without hearing
the same song twice, and songs by any given artist should be more evenly
distributed throughout the entire run.
ARE WE YOUR FAVORITE Live365 STATION?
As a Live365 listener, you can designate one station as your favorite in your
Live365 preferences. If CelticChristianTunes.com Radio is your favorite station,
we ask that you take a moment to register your preference by doing the
following:
1. Go to http://www.Live365.com and log in, if you aren't logged in
automatically.
2. Click on "MyLive365" link near the upper right corner.
3. In the "Choose your favorite station" pull-down list, select
"CelticChristianTunes". (Note that you must have CelticChristianTunes.com Radio
as a preset in order for it to appear in the pull-down menu.)
All of the "Favorite Station" designations we get will be great encouragement to
us! Plus, if you are a dues-paying "Preferred User" (more on this below), we'll
have an opportunity to get a bit of a kickback of your monthly dues. (If 30 or
more Preferred Users designate us as their "Favorite Station", we will upgrade
to a "Premium" broadcast, which will allow us to collect the kickbacks--we might
even break even on our broadcasting costs. Incidentally, upgrading will also
allow us some control over the content of ads that you hear.)
Currently, 34 Standard Listeners and 3 Preferred Listeners have designated us as
their Favorite Station, and thousands more have set us as a preset. Thanks!
SAY GOODBYE TO ANNOYING ADS
We dislike ads as much as you do (maybe more, since we have to play ads that
Live365 gives us no control over). You don't have to tolerate them if you don't
want to! Get rid of them by becoming a Live365 Preferred User:
* No Audio Ads
* No Banner Ads
* Access to additional Live365 stations
* a portion of your dues will be credited toward your favorite station's monthly
broadcasting fees
This costs you just $4.95 per month. For more information and to get a FREE
7-day trial, please visit http://www.live365.com/listen/preferred-member.live.

month regarding Michael's condition.
