An Election Day thought
The Bible has a few things to say about leaders, and how we should react to their appointment and governance. I suggest reading the following passages; if you're a believer, they apply to you regardless of your political affiliation, or whether your guy wins. For copyright reasons, I've linked to them at The Bible Gateway rather than quoting them directly:
Romans 13:1-7: Our governing authorities are put into place by God, and we are to subject ourselves to them.
Romans 9:14-22: There is no injustice in what God chooses to do; he may choose a person who seems to be inextricably against His will, because it serves His higher purposes.
Psalm 115:3: What God does is not open to question.
Romans 11:33-36: We might not understand why God does what he does, and that's fine.
1 Timothy 2:1-6: We should pray for our leaders no matter who they are.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21: Regardless of the country we are in or under whose leadership we find ourselves, our role is to be ambassadors for Christ.
